As you have probably learned, we can login remotely to your computer to perform some diagnostic tests and cleanup. When you schedule a session with one of our techs, he will walk you through some very simple steps to get you access to your computer. Once he has access he will install our remote desktop software which will allow us to correct problematic computers more efficiently. During a session we encourage our clients to watch as we go. We can even remain on the phone with you throughout the process to explain step by step exactly what we are doing. However, usually, there is no need for a client to be present the entire time. When clients opt for unattended sessions they can feel confident that our techs will not access any personal, confidential files or any other files that are not vital to access for the specific repair. As a measure of added security, your entire session can be recorded so you can see every step of the way what we have done. The software that we use for remote access can only be used when we are granted access from your computer. In other word, we will not have access to your system or files, unless you give us explicit access on your schedule. Of course, if you have any further questions about our process or the software used, feel free to ask any of our tech's.

If you setup a regularly scheduled maintenance program, we will setup the system(with your permission) so we can perform regular system maintenance as scheduled without the need for you to be present. When we are finished with any remote session, whether regularly scheduled or an immediate response, we will leave a text file in a folder for you to view at your convenience that summarizes the actions that were taken as well as diagnosis or future problems that we might foresee. This file is useful for any technicians that work on your computer in the future whether service is remotely accessed or repaired in your home.

The remote session software can very useful even when your computer is not having problems. For instance, we can activate a session with you if you want to learn "how-too's", whether it's a lesson in Word or Excel, or even if you want to learn more about Facebook or Twitter. Whatever it is that you want a private tutoring session for, just give us a call or send us a request for a call back session, we will be more than happy to assist you, even late at night!

Pricing: At the beginning of each call, your tech will determine whether or not your computer's problem is something that can be resolved remotely. If he determines that the repair can be done remotely, we will require a $40 hold on a valid credit card(not charged, but a pending transaction). When the session is complete and you are satisfied, we will then process the $40 hold as a transaction. This charge covers troubleshooting for up to the first hour, after which each subsequent hour will be billed at $40/ per hour, charged in 30 minute blocks. For example: A 30 minute session will cost $40. A 60 minute session will cost $40. A 90 minute session will cost $60, and so on.

If we are unable to perform our duties and repair your computer, you will not be charged a dime. If you have done your research, you know that this type of support can cost between $80 and $120 an hour with the manufacturers, and if they don't fix your problem you still have to pay for the call.
